“Working with a fabulous contractor is a treasure very few people really get to experience. Over the past few years I found myself torn between sharing Chris’ name and selfishly keeping him for ourselves. After numerous amazing projects in our home, I did give his name out to a few select close friends who have shared our fabulous experiences. And to my joy, Chris is extremely loyal to his clients and remains ready to help us at anytime!

We purchased a disgusting tiny cottage on a gorgeous piece of land in the best neighborhood in town. We were dumbfounded about what to do. While my husband and I have great experiences in developing projects, all our former contractors were long retired. A great mutual friend gave us the gift of introducing us to Chris.

Chris turned this disgusting little cottage into a beautiful charming home. The work he and his team did included installing new kitchen cabinets and countertops, installing a new sink and new backsplash, putting in new wood floors, redoing both kitchen and bathroom plumbing, gutting and putting in a new master bath, fixing our chimney and fireplace, and hanging a gorgeous new mantle, installing new lighting throughout and painting the entire house. Chris also brought over and installed some gorgeous exterior lights he found for us, had custom end tables made and had a shaker style linen closet built for us. He built a basement door for us and hung two screen doors.

Not only did he vastly increase the value of the property, he also created a home we are thrilled to live in.

Chris’ design taste is superior. I have deferred to him many times. I was on an extended business trip overseas during part of the master bathroom renovation and insisted that Chris sign off on any decisions that needed to be made by my husband and the installers while I was gone.

Chris well understands budgets and gives great advice as to where to spend money and where not to. He also is a fantastic communicator. He does what he says he is going to do when he says he is going to do it. Over the years Chris has become a member of our family. I am sure many of his clients feel the same way.

We wish Chris a joyful move to the cape while at the same time wishing he would stay in Vermont!
